Effective date: 11 September 2026. These terms cover quotes, bookings, payment, cancellation and refunds for work carried out by Cabling Gods Limited, including our Priority Callout service.
Cabling Gods Limited ("we", "us", "our", "CG") is a trading name of CablingGod LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17291267, with a registered office at 200 Cumberland Road, London, E13 8LT. These terms apply to anyone who requests a quote, books a Priority Callout, or otherwise instructs us to carry out work ("you", "the customer").
These terms apply to all work booked through this website or agreed with us directly, including structured cabling, fibre, audio visual, access control, CCTV, Starlink installation, control room/comms room builds, maintenance, and Priority Callout. Where we've separately agreed a written quote or contract for a specific project, and its terms conflict with these, the written quote takes priority for that project.
Most quotes require a site survey, since labour cost depends on access, distance, existing infrastructure and site conditions that can't be priced accurately without seeing the site. Site surveys are priced on enquiry — we do not take payment for a survey online, and a survey visit is not itself an instruction to proceed with work. A quote is only binding once you've accepted it in writing (including by email or WhatsApp) and, where applicable, paid any required deposit or call-out fee.
Priority Callout is a paid-upfront booking for a guaranteed engineer response, currently London only. The terms are:
"Guaranteed within 48 hours" means an engineer will attend site within 48 hours of your Priority Callout booking being confirmed (i.e. from the moment payment is received), for sites within our current Priority Callout coverage area (London only — see Section 8). This is a guarantee of attendance within that window, not a guarantee that the job will be fully completed within 48 hours — some jobs take longer than a single visit, which we'll always discuss with you.
If we fail to attend within the 48-hour window for reasons within our control, you're entitled to a full refund of the £900 call-out fee, or a free rebooking at the next available slot — your choice. If we can't attend within 48 hours for reasons outside our reasonable control (for example, you're not available to give access, the site isn't ready, or events like extreme weather or a declared emergency), this isn't treated as us missing the guarantee, and standard cancellation/rescheduling terms apply instead.
Because Priority Callout reserves engineer time at short notice, our cancellation window is 48 hours:
Where a refund is due under Section 5 (missed response window) or Section 6 (cancellation more than 48 hours out), we'll refund the £900 to your original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5–10 working days. Beyond the specific cases in Sections 5 and 6, the £900 Priority Callout fee is non-refundable once the guaranteed response has been met and an engineer has attended — it covers the call-out itself, regardless of the job's final scope or duration once on site.
Priority Callout currently covers London only. All other work — new installations, maintenance visits, and site surveys — covers London and England as far north as Manchester. If you book Priority Callout for a site outside our current coverage area, we'll contact you to arrange a refund or discuss alternative options rather than proceeding with a booking we can't fulfil.
Reasonable parking costs, the Congestion Charge and ULEZ charges (where applicable to the site) are not included in the £900 call-out fee or the £50/hour labour rate, and are billed separately as incurred. We'll flag this in advance wherever we reasonably can, but central London sites in particular should expect these to apply.
Materials (cable, hardware, connectors and any other parts required) are never included in the £900 call-out fee and are billed separately, based on what's actually used. There's no fixed minimum or maximum number of labour hours — you're billed for time actually spent on site at £50/hour, with the total agreed and confirmed with you before we finish the job wherever practical.
You're responsible for making sure our engineer can access the site (and any specific areas needed, such as a comms room or roof space) at the agreed time. If we attend and can't gain access through no fault of our own, this is treated as a late cancellation under Section 6 — the call-out fee is not refunded, and a new visit will need to be booked and, where applicable, paid for again.
We stand behind our installation work. If a fault develops in our workmanship within a reasonable period after completion, contact us and we'll put it right. This doesn't cover faults caused by third-party work, misuse, or hardware failures unrelated to our installation, and doesn't extend or replace any separate manufacturer's warranty on hardware or materials supplied.
We carry public liability insurance and take reasonable care on every job. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, our liability for any single job is limited to the amount paid for that job, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of business or loss of data) except where required by law.
For quoted work outside the Priority Callout flow, payment terms (deposit, staged payments, or payment on completion) are agreed with you individually as part of the quote. Invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice; late payment may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where the customer is a business.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example if we change Priority Callout pricing, coverage area, or add a new paid booking option. The "effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply to new bookings made after the change; they don't retroactively change the terms of a booking you've already paid for.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer, where applicable.
