CAT5e / CAT6 / CAT6A Structured Data Cabling Installation

Bulk structured cabling for full-floor fit-outs and new-builds, plus single access-point drops and ethernet device connections — every run tested, labelled and handed over with certification. Cabling isn't just data for us — it also covers fibre optic and flexible power cable on the same visit.

Cabling Gods installs CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6A structured cabling for offices, warehouses, education sites and new-build developments across London and England, as far north as Manchester. Whether you need a few hundred outlets for a full-floor fit-out or a single run to a new access point, we survey, install and certify to the same standard.

We work from your IT team's design or help you plan one from scratch — containment routes, cabinet layout, patch panel numbering and outlet density — so the finished install is easy to maintain long after we've left site.

Every cable is tested end-to-end, labelled at both ends, and documented in a handover pack with test results, so your network team has a clean record of exactly what was installed and where.

"Cabling" doesn't stop at data for us. The same visit can cover fibre optic backbone runs and flexible power cable — supplying and running power to PSUs, mag locks, cameras, control panels and other low-voltage equipment — so one team handles the data, the fibre and the power feeding it all.

We also supply pre-loomed cable — CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6A run as a bundled loom to your exact core count and lengths, ready to pull through containment in one go instead of running each cable separately. If you would like, we can terminate and dress the loom for you too — cut to length, connectorised and tidied into the cabinet or patch panel ready to test. Loomed cable is made to order, so pricing is on request once we know the core count and lengths.

FAQs

Do you install single ethernet points, or only bulk projects?

Both. We take on full structured cabling fit-outs with hundreds of outlets and single access-point or device drops with no minimum job size.

What's the difference between CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6A?

CAT5e supports up to 1Gbps, CAT6 supports 1Gbps reliably over longer runs with better interference resistance, and CAT6A supports 10Gbps — we'll recommend the right grade based on your network requirements and cable run lengths.

Do you test and certify the cabling?

Yes, every run is tested end-to-end and results are supplied with your handover documentation.

What is pre-loomed cable, and can it be terminated for me?

A loom bundles multiple cable runs together to your exact core count and lengths, so containment gets pulled once instead of cable-by-cable. Made to order, so pricing is on request — and if you'd like it terminated and dressed into the cabinet or patch panel too, just say so and we'll price that in alongside it.
